Lessons from the Gym

I have fought the battle of the bulge for most of my life, and my ‘trainer time’ at the gym has taught be a few valuable lessons.

Keep moving, as no one ever gets healthy through a stagnant lifestyle.
Exercise, like life, takes perseverance and discipline.
Achieving meaningful change, requires meaningful effort.
It’s OK to have someone push you, to get through those last five reps.
Come what may, you can’t out-work a bad diet.
I hate my trainer. I love how I feel, after he is done with me.
