A small baby rabbit, camouflaged in the bushes in our back yard, was a major source of curiosity for our dogs. They didn’t hurt her. Somehow, the big retriever had moved her to the edge of the fence and fiercely protected her from the other two eager Bichons.
Rohini got the ball rolling — blankets, texts, frantic calls to animal rescues to save this tender life. Bonnie & David did their part to feed and keep safe this little bundle of life till more help arrived.
Yes, it is only an animal. Yes it’s survival fades in comparison to the human suffering around us, yet a gesture of kindness and compassion is commendable. All these wonderful people did was gear up to save a life. What have you done lately??
