There are very few places where one sees the entire spectrum of human emotions. There is incredible kindness, comforting care, and love, on one end of the spectrum. The other end is anchored by pain and suffering, heartbreak and unimaginable loss as people see loved ones depart for their final resting place.
The good souls who make this their professional journey, do God’s work. They gently nurture, selflessly love and consistently alleviate pain and suffering. Somehow all our individual daily challenges fade in the face of battles for life.
While there may not be many happy outcomes for those who go to hospice, at least these Angels make the final journey a little more bearable.
