Live in the Now

in-the-now

I have a tendency to get ahead of myself, on the golf course, in my work, and in my personal life. The “what if” scenarios play games with my head and create a palpable anxiety that is neither healthy nor necessary. Net result? I have become a worry wart. One of the wonderful qualities my dad blessed me with!

When the chips are down, a fertile imagination and too much time on my hands can be an unnerving combination. I continue to train my mind to stay in the moment and I find myself worrying less, and relaxing a tad bit more.

I have taught myself to live in the now. As a result, my mind is quieter and calmer.

Stop worrying about the things you can’t control.

Let the chips fall where they may.
