Loyalty or Competence?

Competence without loyalty is an organizational dilemma. As is, loyalty, without competence.
The ideal blend of both is difficult to come by, and is driven more by external forces than by any single corporate decision. As and when you find it, cherish it, bottle it and spread the magic dust. It can truly be a thing of beauty.
