Ma

mom

It’s been almost 9 years since my Mom passed away, leaving a deep void in my life. She was an amazing, yet simple woman. Spiritual. Kind. Tough. Her life was her family.

Even when the chips were down she believed in me. I was her dark horse.

She knew I would do something worthwhile with my life. Her belief never wavered.

She made many sacrifices, spending years away from her children, as we honed our skills at the best boarding schools in the country. I guess that’s what mothers do — sacrifice.  It goes with the territory.

I miss her dearly and the pain never goes away.
I cope, as do we all that have lost loved ones.

I love you Ma.
I know you are smiling, as you walk the heavens with Dad.

Happy Mothers Day.
