Ma

My Ma watches from the heavens above this Mother’s Day, and every other day I walk this Earth.  She was a simple lady,  but was tough as nails.

She was protective of her brood, as most mother are inclined to be.  Even in my dismal vagabond years, she never lost faith in me.  She somehow always knew I would be alright.

I miss my Ma, and think of her often. Call your Mom this Sunday and tell her you love her.  If she is no longer with you, I bet the party in heaven will be enviable.  Happy Mother’s Day, Ma.
Love you, and miss you more than you will ever know.
