The TEDx talk has been finally released, and one key goal has been checked off my personal bucket list — mission accomplished. It was certainly a labor of love, and I surprised myself by the time and energy I invested in this endeavor.
I am proud for having stepped into the arena, and challenging myself to explore the uncomfortable. My daughter Jasmine, was a constant as my greatest cheer leader and coach.
I was particularly touched by the numerous emails and messages I received from former students. Some to say that my talk had struck a cord, or resonated with them. Others to simply send messages of support.
Judi often told me that the key to doing difficult things was to prepare like never before. She was right. I certainly took that path on this one, and I will let you be the judge if the effort paid off. I hope you enjoy my talk and I hope you share it, if the message is meaningful to you.
I will continue to push the envelope and explore new challenges. I sense I have a few more tricks up my sleeve.
