The world lost a good one with the passing of Mr. Chuck Jennings. He was 87, and lived a meaningful life. Chuck was among the last of the “Southern Gentlemen”. He carried himself with quiet dignity, and had a commanding presence.
I knew Mr. Jennings for more than twenty years. He guided me through the nuances of insurance, managing risk, and always had my back. He taught me a lot about that complex world.
It hurts a little bit more when the good ones die. Kindness and respect are becoming lost arts. Chuck did both well with remarkable grace.
Rest well Mr. Jennings. You will be missed.
