Mr. Richards has been a part of our Montessori family for over 15 years. He retired recently at the young age of 89. He instilled in the children a love for music, and taught them to discover their own rhythm. Not an easy task when one works with three year olds.
He played the piano with fervor and taught the children to find their angelic voices. He was the star performer at both our winter celebrations and spring graduation. His passion for children and for music were both rare and endearing. We will miss him, but I know he will continue to make his music as he sails into the sunset, and his tunes will continue to resonate with a generation of children who walked our hallways.
