In an era of fleeting loyalty, the best of the best espouse the values of commitment, loyalty and dedication.
I met Ms. Barbara in early 2000, in an under construction school house building with no roof. I pointed with purpose as I drew the silhouettes of the layout of the classrooms. The fading light of a warm summer day painted the promise of what was yet to come. She bought into my vision and was the first teacher to join my team.
16 years later, after educating a generation of children, including my own, Ms. Barbara has chosen to retire and enjoy her golden years pursuing other endeavors.
As Ms. Barbara sails into the sunset, we wish her well and, with gratitude, thank her for changing the lives of so many. We will miss her smiling face and loyal presence, but her legacy will live beyond the walls of the schools. Her impact thrives in the success of the children she taught, who have since grown into young men and women, and are leaving their own mark in this world.
We will miss you Ms. Barbara, but you will always be a part of our Montessori family.
