“Multiculturalism is not who America is”, provides a myopic perspective into the American way of life. This point of view was sadly shared by the outgoing Secretary of State — America’s voice on the Global stage.
In reality, America has always been a melting pot of multiple cultural views that closely defines the very fabric of this beautiful country. Nearly all of us are immigrants here. Some recent, some a few generations removed. All of us got off the boat somewhere along the way.
America has always been the land of opportunity for anyone willing to work hard and pursue their dreams. The sheer richness of this country lies in its diversity and it’s culture of acceptance. We must celebrate our differences and respect our rich cultural heritage.
How else will be the greatest nation on earth?
