My Heart is Full

Life gives us those rare moments when the stars and entire universe align to create special memories. This weekend, I turned 60 and my daughter, Jasmine, got married to Kevin, the love of her life. The icing on the cake? Today I celebrate Diwali with those I love.

The past few days have been a surreal, out of body experience. Surrounded by close family and friends, I soaked in the festivities and continue to bask in the warm embrace of a special, memorable weekend. it is rare when everything comes together so beautifully. 

My heart is full, in more ways than one. Family. Friends. Love. Laughter. A liver that needs rest. And very little sleep.
