There is something spiritual about the sanctity of the classroom. It’s where I practice my craft. Beyond the academic content, it’s a haven where I connect with students.
I strive to take every student out of their comfort zone, and to push them to unimaginable limits. I work hard to create a non threatening environment where, if they fail, they are in a controlled, safe, setting. What better place to learn and grow, and fail and succeed?
These wonderful young men and women have not only made me a better teacher, but more importantly, a better human being. As I have gotten older, it’s something that I cherish and never take for granted. I have been blessed to find my calling. The teacher in me, continues to strive for excellence — for them, and for myself.
