Nature’s Fury

The winds howled with loud indignation.
The trees bent and broke in humble submission.
The rain splattered across windows and doors, almost as a cry for help.
The darkness engulfed the landscape to hide the destruction.

And then, there was quiet.
The rain settled, the thunder disappeared and the wind left to pursue its destructive path.  The wrath of nature left a shredded city in its wake.

The lull after the storm brought a gentle coolness to try and calm the nerves. Now we must pick up the pieces and build again.
And pay homage to the power of
Mother Nature.
