Young, eager faces, of the new faculty at our annual new faculty dinner. I remember that day, when I was the new kid on the block. That was a distant 29 years ago.
I believed in my heart, at that dinner, that The University of Tampa (UT) was a stepping stone for me to bigger and better things. Never been so wrong in my life. For me, UT is as good as as it gets. It’s been home for most of my life.
I wish I could tell these young folks the stories of the decades gone by. About what makes UT the special place that makes it home. The truth is that we must learn life’s lessons on our own. I wish they get as much joy from this journey, as I get from mine every day.
