None of This S#*T Matters

We make work our single greatest priority. Log in long hours, let the stress build, and ignore the things and the people who really count.

And then life happens, and we come to the difficult realization that, in the long run, none of this s#*t really matters.  Good insight from a successful executive that was diagnosed with breast cancer and continues, a year later,  to fight the good fight. And also from a young woman who lost her Dad two weeks ago, and is now learning to cope with the pain.

So, what gives? Why are we so obsessed with success and work, and deadlines, and doing it all? Why do we ignore the very people and relationships that give meaning to our lives? Pay attention to what matters before it is too late, and you are left with that empty, hollow feeling inside.
