Nothing to Say

It’s a difficult dilemma when we get tongue tied, because we don’t know what to say.  Typically happens when we meet someone who has lost a loved one, or been diagnosed with a dreaded disease, or fallen on hard times.

When we feel uncomfortable, we avoid the meeting or the conversation, and fumble through the interaction. Sometimes, a quiet hug or a gentle touch  can say more than any words.  Don’t avoid those that need you when their chips are down.  Sometimes, less is more.
