The only way to keep the brain alive, it to oil it with new challenges. Find new scenarios, and new problems that require new solutions. We tend to get stuck in a rut with the familiar. Solving similar problems in a relatively stagnant environment makes the brain squeaky and, pardon the irony, a little rusty.
That’s what I love about consulting — no two problems, and no two clients are the same. I miss my Judi girl, but she seems to be watching over us as we tackle this new challenge with a fresh set of eyes to fix what’s broken. Someone, please grab the lube tube. We got this, in more ways than one.
