I have been fascinated by places of worship my entire life. I never miss a chance to walk into a church, a temple, a mosque or a synagogue. There is a peaceful, divine, serenity in each religious abode. I find myself in quiet worship in each sanctuary of God.
My faith has kept me grounded, and my spirituality has enabled me to respect others for their belief systems. My sense is that at its core, every religion shares commonalities and prescriptive behaviors for our every day life. How then, can we claim that our faith is better than someone else’s?
The ironic tragedy is that more blood has been shed over religion than just about anything else. Our world would be so much better if we learned to celebrate each other, in our differences, and let our faith pave our way.
