Our World of Hate

world-of-hate

It troubles me to see the hate and violence that is front and center in our our World today. France, Belgium, Pakistan, India, Turkey, and our own backyards — the location changes, but the hate does not abate. I can’t fathom how anyone can take innocent lives, and destroy families, all in the name of religion, race, and a variance in belief systems.

No religion teaches hate. No ethnicity supports violence.

Hate is perpetuated by power hungry clerics and politicians, with personal gain in mind.
There are those among us who want to build walls, and fuel hate through political rhetoric. Education, tolerance, and acceptance are more likely to succeed than guns, bombs or walls.

It is a sad commentary on our World that the hate mongers continue to succeed.
Why can’t we all just learn to get along, and respect the beautiful diversity of our World?
