There is a lot of unethical exploitation of employees in a large number of publicly traded American companies.
The game plan is simple — give team members elaborate titles without the necessary support, training or appropriate compensation. Titles are easier than money.
A number of these people work for their families, not for love of what they do. The fear of losing their jobs hangs over their heads like Damocles sword.
It is counter productive when people work, out of fear. There is day to day uncertainty, and little job security.
Logging long hours — more than 69 hours a week with no overtime — borders on exploitation. The proverbial company issued smart phone serves as an electronic shackle so they are always at the beck and call of the so called leadership.
All these companies care about is profit, and not their people. Shame on them.
