It is only appropriate that I start this special series by profiling my Queen Bee, Rohini. Especially as today is her birthday, and this is in a sense, a quiet celebration of what she means to me.
Besides Mom and Dad, no other person has had such a significant impact on my life as this special lady. Rohini has inherently changed me as a person. She has taught me about humility and giving — not my strong suits.
There is an innate kindness that underlies everything she does. I have learned how to love dogs, appreciate the simple things in life and find happiness in nature.
As a professional, she is clearly the best at what she does. She has an uncanny ability to mesmerize children and teach them about finding joy in the world around them. I wish we could all have learnt that in our formative years. Her teachers love her, the children adore her, and her skill set as President and CEO of her Montessori world is enviable.
I clearly got the better part of this relationship. Happy Birthday Rohini. May our daily celebration of life spill into your special day.
