Refocus – 2015

refocus-2015

This blog has been a labor of love over the past year and a half, but somewhere along the way I lost my focus. Especially over the past few months, my motivation to write started to dwindle. As the workload of the semester got the better of me, and I got caught up with life, my commitment to write something every day took greater precedence than the issues I chose to explore. Talk about losing focus.

“Please write for me honey,” was becoming a frequent plea to Rohini, as the task of daily writing got the better of me. Kudos to her for doing an admirable job, but this nonsense stops now.

Time to refocus. The essence of the blog will never change — I plan to still write about business, life and my search for infinite wisdom. And the monthly interviews will be back, with a vengeance, to share the stories of some of the most intriguing people that I meet in my journey.

However, the focus will now be on ‘Thought Leadership’ and thought leaders. On Fridays, I will share some of the writings of some of the most brilliant thought leaders that have shaped my thinking. A few times a month, I will invite thought leaders to guest blog on topics ranging from marketing, leadership, education, philosophy and spiritual renewal.

I will now recommit to writing this blog with a renewed energy — sharing my views because I have something important to say, not because I have a task to complete. ‘Keep your eye on the ball’ was sage advice from a good friend.

After many months, I am truly excited about writing with renewed passion.
I hope you will continue to read my writings, and share it with others. Please also share your thoughts with me, and provide feedback. Time to step up my game!
