Rest Well, Dr. Anthony

He stuck his finger in Molly’s ear, pulled out black goonk – “Yep, it looks infected”! That was our Dr. Anthony. “That’s really gross Doc”, was the best line I could muster at the time, as I struggled to keep down my lunch.

Today, the world lost a genuine lover of animals. He was the go-to Vet to a few generation of pets in our local community, and our family Vet for over a decade. To say he loved animals was an understatement. I saw him play with and love on the fur babies, and blink back the tears as he helped ease their suffering and sent them over the rainbow bridge.

Dr. Anthony was a thorough professional and passionate about his craft. He was surprisingly affordable – a luxury in today’s VET world where they charge you first and ask questions later. I loved his approach to medicine — kind to the animals and kind to our wallets. He was Honest. Sincere. Kind. Compassionate.

I have a sense that there will be thousands of animals lining his path to heaven, celebrating his final journey. He spread the love. We should too, to honor his memory. Rest well, Doc. We will miss you!
