Lee was a simple man who recently succumbed to cancer. He was the security officer for many years at the gated community I call home. While most of us had minimal interactions with Lee, he struck all those who knew him as a soft spoken and kind man.
He was particularly kind to the young kids, who called in their friends at odd hours. I stopped in to see him from time to time with the proverbial bottle of wine to thank him for his help, or to share with him the holiday spirit.
The news of his passing brought a sadness to all of us in the family. No superstar or celebrity here — just a kind, honest, hardworking man. I wish I would meet more people like him. We will miss you Lee. RIP.
Rusty, thank you for verbalizing something we all know but seldom express. Recognizing that the everyday person can be more important to is than the rich and famous. That’s who really makes the World go round!
Keep up the good work.
That was wonderful thank you Dr. Rustogi for your kind words. Capt Maddie
