At the end of the day, being happy is more important than just about anything else. “The only thing I have ever wanted, is my daughter to be happy”. That was Judi giving me insight during one of our many conversations.
More than professional accolades, or glory in the spotlight, we can find happiness in the simple things. There is no magic elixir to finding happiness.
We can find it in the innocence of puppies and babies, in bad golf and good wine with great friends; in the silly banter of family togetherness; in quiet walks and moments of reflection. And in doing good for others.
More importantly, we must seek happiness within, and with those within our tribe. After all, happiness is the essence of life.
