There is something about puppies that melt the heart. Maybe it’s the playful innocence, the random destruction of everything important, or those eyes that get you every single time. Our little bow-legged Bichon, Oscar Bow Wild, has brought a sense of purpose to our home. Yes, we are empty nesters and our four month old puppy is the new baby in the house. Heaven help us!
Maybe this little guy is a God sent distraction from our every day lives, but this 6 pound fur-ball has brought new energy into our humble home. The house is strewn with toys, and his puppy yelp is certainly a departure from our typically quiet home. Our other two dogs are not quite sure what to make of him. I sense they did not sign up for this. Not sure we did either!
I am convinced that his wet kisses and unabashed energy do wonders for my psyche, and fill my life with unconditional love. I wish we could all learn life’s valuable lessons from our four legged friends.
