Every dark cloud has a silver lining, and it manifests itself in multiple ways. The kindness of strangers; employers who put their team before their bank accounts; those that generously give of themselves and their resources. Glimmers of hope and kindness uplift and nurture the human spirit, during these dreary and dark days.
Difficult times create an opportunity for kindness and genuine giving. There are those that certainly have a lot more than us — yet by the same token, there are those that have a lot less. And these are the folks that deserve a generous gift from our hearts and our wallets.
Ultimately, the storm will pass, clouds will part, and the sun will shine again — it always has, it always will. Till then, we must do our part to help the less fortunate. Generosity is the gift that keeps on giving. We must all do our part to share our gifts and our blessings.
