In business, one has to spend money to make money. Unfortunately, too many companies save money, by being stingy on essentials. Then these tightwads wonder why revenue is falling, customers are leaving and employees are unhappy. Their solution? Cut expenses even more.
My philosophy is simple. If I can throw money at a problem — within reason — and make the problem go away, it is the easiest fix in business.
Focus less on making money and more on living your vision. The irony is that most companies that fail, focus on money. Those that succeed, pursue a passion. The motivation and the outcome are both predictable. Almost every time.
