“Cardinals appear when the Angels are near”, is a commonly held belief. These beautiful “spiritual messengers of God” are as unique, as they are rare.
Today, this messenger came to provide comfort, and love to a grieving heart. She perched softly on her shoulder, and then nestled quietly in her cupped hands. When she flew away, she left behind three feathers — one for each member of the close knit family.
The tears flowed freely from those that grieve. It was a sign that all will be well, and those that leave us, always find a way to comfort and give love.
May these messengers of God continue to heal these broken hearts, and may those that have left, continue to shine their blessings on us.
