When the pressure gets too much, the dam bursts and all hell breaks loose. And then, there is no turning back.
I could see the steely resolve in her eyes. There was no going back to a life she never wanted. She was moving on, for her children, for her future, and to keep as much dignity that he was not able to strip from her.
I admire her determination to keep her sanity. She would rather face her uncertainty, then go back to her living hell. I have a sense she will be fine. At the end of the day, we may never figure out what lies ahead, but we have to take a leap of faith — sometimes without a safety net.
