Stop the Sell

She kept selling incessantly — without allowing us to get in a single word. She was trying to earn our business, but I know there are better ways to do that. When we over sell, we become less effective.  

I think we could all do a better job of listening.  Selling is so much easier, when you let the customer do most of the talking.  Besides, when we listen more, they think we are the smart ones.
