Tattle Monkey

It’s a small red monkey with red lipstick. The children are encouraged to confide in and tattle to the monkey when their “friends” don’t toe the line, or when they have something to complain about. The children feel better about themselves, and the monkey is oblivious to the problems of their innocent world.

It’s a little bit like the adult version of the water cooler talk. Here, office politics are discussed and fingers are enviously pointed at the new star in the office who got the big bonus or the corner office.

The difference is that with the big people, the finger pointing and complaining destroys the culture. With the children, they get over it, and run out and play together, hand in hand.
