Life is not a bed of roses, and we all have a cross to bear. The perceived perfect life of people we meet — and the people we know — is less than perfect.
I see loved ones fight disease, I see the mental health challenges in people I know, and I see broken families where little children become collateral damage. I guess we are forced to take what life throws at us — sometimes with open arms and sometimes with resignation to our lot in life.
The lesson? Don’t grudge any one their life. Their cross may be heavier than the one you bear.
