Intense heat and pressure help create the most beautiful and valuable diamonds in the world. Henry Kissinger said it eloquently, “a diamond is a chunk of coal that did well under pressure.”
The human parallel is equally powerful and equally rare. I know a few exceptionally talented people who fuel creativity and greatness through intense pressure and constant heat.
I sense the fire in their belly that enables them to sparkle like those rare precious stones. To me, these unique individuals are even more valuable than any diamond from the core of the earth. The stones may be of incalculable worth, but the people are priceless.
