The idea came from a former student, who is now a good friend. He keeps a gratitude journal to help deal with PTSD that came from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Pain, suffering, and death (up close) creates this unimaginable trauma for our brave men and women.
The goal: write three things you are grateful for in your life, first thing every morning. And then three things you are grateful for today — at the end of each day.
I started my gratitude journal today, to count my blessings everyday and to send positive vibes into the universe. Try it. It has the potential to create a new reality for you. And it allows you to keep it real.
