Think about that for a second. Let that settle into your psyche. Want to honor our veterans? Let’s start by being kind to each other. To soften the rhetoric. To be mindful of other people’s perspectives, without necessarily accepting them. That would certainly make Aristotle proud. And maybe — just maybe — help honor the selfless sacrifices of those brave men and women who fought for us, and those who died for this country.
