The festive season is on the brink of togetherness and celebrating family. Thanksgiving, and then Christmas right around the corner. The good times and the celebrations tempered with what was, and what never will be again.
This season will certainly feel different for those that have lost loved ones, for the empty chair at the dinner table, and for voids in our hearts that will never be filled. Celebration and sorrow make strange bed fellows — parts of our hearts are full of joy, parts feel desolate and hollow.
Such are the ways of the world, such is our daily reality.
