I believe in the beauty of the human spirit. Friends and colleagues reaching out when someone is debilitated. Sending food and flowers and home cooked meals. They send uplifting words of encouragement and show up at the door step to show support and provide comfort.
We live in a caustic and cynical world, yet the brilliance of the human spirit shines through when the chips are down. Acts of kindness and a benevolent spirit help restore our faith in humanity. In the end, goodness of people prevails. Always has, always will.
