I take immense pleasure in showering our teachers’ children with toys and gifts, and dollar bills to buy ice-cream. It’s my way of “buying” my way into their little, innocent hearts. Small tokens of joy for all of us.
My children are all grown up, and they have grown up needs. The three and four year olds at the Montessori are a treasure. To see their eyes light up and their smiles fill the room is sheer joy.
They are a beautiful reminder of the innocence of children and how the smallest gifts make their hearts sing. A rough day fades away in their innocence and their little hugs melts my heart. Oh, how I love these babies.
