The Kindness of Strangers’

No name, except for the one that hides behind an awkward badge. An unfamiliar face of a stranger. Unknown, unheralded, and a face I will probably never see again. Yet they touch your heart with kindness during difficult times. A gentle touch, a warm embrace, a much needed hug when every effort to blink back the tears goes awry.

That’s the  beauty of the human spirit. We find kindness from strangers  — in multiple forms — when we least expect it, yet when we need it the most. I think all of us can do a better job of paying it forward. When was the last time you did something nice for a total stranger, expecting no reward? I plan to do more of that. I hope you do too. Maybe our world will be better that way…..
