I read Seth Godin’s blog, that the “worst” question, a student can ask an educator is, “is this going to be on the test?”
I concur.
As a career educator, I thought I might add a few more questions and comments that drive me nuts:
How long does the paper have to be?
Is this important/ relevant?
I stopped by at 10:00pm; you are never in your office.
My group is out to get me. And I did ALL the work.
You never told me it was due.
You took off points for poor grammar and typos. It’s not fair.
The exam question was too specific. I had to memorize the answer.
The exam question was too general. I did not know what you wanted.
And on, and on, and on — it’s always my fault.
Got to love these students.
