She entered her home, after six months, and it felt like an out of body experience. She was looking at the life that was no longer hers. She could clearly see the life that she had built for herself. The life that she has always wanted, except that now that life was no longer an option.
She looked at the personal photographs and the many artifacts she had painstakingly collected during her many travels around the world. She stood in the center of her home and screamed at the unfairness of it all.
She put her house on the market and will soon pack up her personal effects and a lifetime full of memories, to start over. Sometimes, we have to start over, even when we don’t want to…..life can be so cruel sometimes, and so unfair.
