It is a common belief that the millennials are a needy, self absorbed and entitled generation. Probably a small element of truth to some of these beliefs.
On the flip side, this generation can be insecure, laced with anxiety, and lacking in confidence. They are digitally connected, but socially isolated. The rhetoric does not match the persona. Their online profile a mere shadow of their actual reality.
Like every generation before them, they must face their challenges head on. The future belongs to them. We need to do our part to help them on the arduous journey that lies ahead.
