The Other Child

As empty nesters with adult children outside the home, our impish four legged dog child never fails to keep us on our toes, and keep us busy.

Oscar Wild is wicked as they come, without a mean bone in his body.  He has been the perfect antidote to the difficulty of the last few days  He has showered me with his wet kisses and snuggles, without a care in the world.

His sheer presence brings a smile to my face and his antics continuously   amuse us.  He has established his pride of place in our humble abode, much to the chagrin of our other two dogs.

He gets away with murder, because he is so damn cute.  And because he is our dysfunctional child.  Besides, as Rohini often says, “the more I get to know people, the more I love my dogs”. Time to go walk him, and do my doggy chores.
