The Silent Heroes

They work in confined spaces with misery, illness and death all around them.  Certainly not for the faint of heart.  These frontline doctors and nurses are silent heroes that clearly answer to a higher calling.

“I saw so much suffering, and death and so many body bags, that I started to wonder, if I would be next” — this from a family friend who is in the trenches every single day.

She, and others like her, are the true heroes. They work without the need for accolades and reward, serving those they don’t even know.  I think we all collectively owe them a debt of gratitude.  Thank you for all that you do. And for giving people the ultimate gift — the gift of life.
