Yes, it’s that time of year, when the tax man comes calling. While we all have a civic and legal responsibility to pay our dues, the deep dive into the pocket book of everyday citizens can be often described with one word – “ouch”. Feel the pinch; pay your dues; carry on with your life.
We certainly have a moral, and social responsibility to take care of the poorest of the poor in this nation. Unfortunately, we spend too much time and money taking care of the lazy. There are too many people out there, that abuse the welfare system, and choose not to work.
America has been built on the tenets of free enterprise, and hard work. The American Dream is still alive and well for those who want to work for it — it should not be for those who live with a sense of social entitlement, and work the system, at the expense of others.
America is for those who dream big. Not for those that are lazy.
