In our very own backyard, lie the trails of Riverhills. A narrow, trodden, overgrown path that hugs the Alafia River. Deer and alligators, hogs and snakes inhabit the trails. The Palmetto palms, Spanish moss laden trees, and the vast spread of ferns give it a lush, dense foliage. The clear waters of the river give it a natural beauty, that is authentic, and native to the area.
I am married to a nature junky, who is truly a daughter of the Earth. She finds calm and food for her soul in these woods and local habitat. If you live in the area, walk these trails — your heart will thank you!
Love the write up. Thanks encourage everyone to enjoy the trails!
