Now that the angst of the political season starts to fade in the rear view mirror, it’s time to focus on the true heroes in America. News flash — none of them are politicians.
The true heroes in America are the brave, fearless, men and women that guard our borders and protect us and keep us safe. Our wonderful Veterans. Celebrate them this Veterans Day, which is tomorrow. Find a Vet. Express your gratitude.
I love the line from the movie, A Few Good Men — “I like them because they say stand on the wall and tell me that nothing will happen to me. Not on their watch”.
Thank you to the Veterans for their service, and for making America the greatest country in the world. That is “your” badge of honor, and it is well deserved.
Dear Mr. Trump, please don’t leave these heroes in your rear view mirror.
